Setting out from Crystal Palace, an enjoyable, and at times challenging, cycle route leads from Corkscrew Hill to the North Downs. This circular route is just shy of thirty miles and can be completed in just under three hours, or longer with picnic and pub breaks.
From Crystal Palace cycle towards West Wickham until you join Corkscrew Lane. From here the route leaves the city and continues out into an expanse of rolling hills, luscious green valleys and ancient woodlands.
From the top of the lane you will be rewarded with stunning views stretching miles out across the North Downs, before hurtling down to Westerham gaining speeds of up to 40mph. Climb back up to the pretty town of Keston to start the journey back to West Wickham and on into central London.
