Just eight miles long, the Uxbridge to Rickmansworth cycle route is a great weekend bike ride option for London-based families. Leaving the city far behind, you will enjoy views of open countryside as you pass by numerous nature reserves and pretty lakes.
Cycling off-road along canal paths and bridleways, it is a pleasant ride through the Colne Valley with plenty of tea rooms and pubs to stop off at along the way. Once you arrive in Rickmansworth you can choose to cycle back to Uxbridge or get the train back to London from there.
