Cycle canal side from Paddington to Hayes, beginning in Little Venice nestled between Camden and Paddington and ending 15 miles later in the pretty suburban town of Hayes.
At the beginning of this route the path can be a bit busy as you dodge roaming tourists and boat owners but once you break out of central London and hit a wide towpath the serenity of the surroundings will hit you.
Passing Kensal Green Cemetery, Wormwood Scrubs Park and Park Royal you will eventually arrive in Neasden and then Hayes. After a pub lunch stop here, choose to cycle back the way you came or if you’re tired, jump on a train back to the City.
