As with most of the other campsites in this list, you’ll get a front row seat as the peloton whizz past on the Holme Moss Switchback on the way to Holme Moss Summit. There will be the usual facilities (toilets, drinking water, security and campshop).

Even better, for those of you who want to travel light, you can purchase a full camping kit complete with tent, sleeping bags, raincoat and torch (and more) from The Lazy Camper company. They’ll even ship your stuff home for you so you don’t have to lug it around.

10 minutes up the road from the campsite, Lane Farm will be running a mini festival with showers, bar, food court, big screen TV and various events and festivities.
