Camping? In London? Surely not! In fact, the Lee Valley has several camping and caravan sites (and of course the Lee Valley Velopark, scene of many an Olympic Victory in 2012) and they’re all located just an hour from the centre of the city.

It’s also incredibly well set up – power hook ups, showers, toilets, launderette, children’s play area, cafe, bar, cinema – you can even go fishing should the whim take you. You’ve also got all the cycling facilities of the Velopark on your doorstep too, with track, MTB and road cycling available.

There’s also got camping pods and cabins on site if you fancy something a little more solid over your head.
