As mentioned, Hincapie have created a matching Chantilly range; short sleeve jersey, shorts, arm and leg warmers. Not only do we have the short sleeve jersey to test, we’ve also been sent through the shorts to test.
The same TourTek™ fabric has been used, and on the leg cuffs the ProGrip™ technology is included with laser cut edges and that snakeskin silicone grip inside.
In terms of the chamois pad, Hincapie use their seamless, anatomical, multi-density Pro Chamois. It’s different to the one used in the Arenberg capris and the power bib shorts, so it will be interesting to compare the two.
The size small sent through fit our size 10 model well, although the leg length is a little shorter than what we’re accustomed to. At the waist, the front of the shorts sits quite low, but not uncomfortable so, and at the rear, it covers everything it needs to, specially with the length of the matching jersey.
