We’ve been doing a lot of going South but it’s not the only way to go!

This 47 miler takes in just over 3,ooo feet of climbing and takes you out to quiet lanes via Barnet to Potter’s Bar and up to Hertford, before ferrying you back via Highgate.

Many of the roads are rolling – but there are some short, sharp hills in there, especially at Robin’s Nest Hill by Little Berkhamsted and Swain’s Lane near Hamstead Heath. Take a look for yourself here…
