London to Paris is perfect if you want a longer challenge, and the chance to cycle through some beautiful countryside in the UK and on the continent.
There are various charities that will organise their own specific rides, like the British Heart Foundation who offer both an on-road and off-road route! Other organisations, like Skyline, will organise a ride that you can do to for the charity of your choice. They provide full support, organise most of your food and accomodation, and will even transport your luggage as you ride!
If you fancy combining some cycling with a little cycle spectating, The Big Issue’s upcoming London to Paris ride will get you to the Champs Elysees in time to watch the final stage of the Tour De France. The perfect end to a cycling challenge.
Distance: Nearly 500km
Date: Several over the year. Check with the specific charities for dates, but for Skyline the next rides are 18th June and 9th July, and The Big Issue ride is the 24th to the 27th July 2014.
