Whether you want a long sportive or a fun family ride, there’s something for you here. The classic route is the 47 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh, which attracts thousands of participants. Expect a mixture of quiet lanes, closed roads and cycle paths, plus refreshment stops every 10 miles, lunch at the gorgeous Linlithgow Palace, and entertainment and activities to celebrate your arrival in Edinburgh.

Or if you fancy more of a challenge, there’s the 110mile sportive – detouring from the classic route, it’s chosen to cater to road cyclists perfectly, so expect smooth roads, stunning views and challenging climbs.
