Back in 2009, Chris Boardman came up with this, his Intelligent Bike Concept. A seriously innovative machine, it would banish such cycling annoyances as punctures and thefts thanks to its puncture-proof self-inflating tyres and an inbuilt computer system that incorporates an unbreakable locking device using fingerprint recognition. Boardman said at the time that all the technology already existed, it was just a case of bringing it together, so we want to know – when will we see this in the shops?
