One of the pioneers on the recent wave of new artisan framebuilders, Feather Cycles is run by Ricky Feather, a former BMXer turned master craftsman. Based in North Yorkshire, his beautifully crafted frames are in high demand – possibly because of his intricate hand-carved lugs, maybe because Feather picked up two awards at last year’s Bespoked Bristol show, Best in Show and Public Vote, but most likely because he produces such beauties as this D12 Cyclocross bike (pictured).
