Here are our first impressions:

• They are soft, and on first appearance look just like ordinary pants, albeit ones that you might not wear when planning to seduce your other half.
• On closer inspection you can see a line of stitching in a nappy shape on the knickers, underneath lies the additional protection.
• This plastic layer is covered in a soft, light fabric that looks like it would be quite comfortable and breathable.
• We are a little sceptical about these pants, but actually they might just prove to be your most prized possession on those dark days.
