The Pack’n’Pedal Small Adventure Touring Pannier is a neat, stylish looking bag. Designed to work with the Pack’n’Pedal pannier rack, this will also fit on to virtually any rack, according to Thule.
The pannier bag incorporates Thule’s patent pending ‘vanishing hardware system’ which means the usual attachments and catches that protrude from the back of a pannier bag can be hidden away when the bag is being carried. This is great news for those of us who are fed up of odd-shaped bruises.
There’s a translucent plastic pocket on both sides, designed to take your bike light. This means you can pop them in, they’ll still be visible, and you don’t need to worry about putting brackets on your bike.
The bag is made of ‘weather proof’ fabric; we’ll need to see how weather and waterproof this is in the test. A roll top design and compression straps give you the option of adjusting the bag size to fit the load. The Adventure Touring packs are sold singly, so you can buy the best combination to suit you.
