Strava is a bit like Marmite – but love it, or hate it – it’s fair to say it’s worked its way into cycling culture.

Stand atop any notable local club on a weekend and you’ll no doubt see a selection of red faced riders huffing toward  imaginary finish line. You can almost here the Segment leaderboards re-shuffling.

Strava isn’t just about QOMing and PR’s, though – it’s a great source of route inspiration – and even more so with ‘Strava local‘, which pulls together the most popular rides from a selection of cities- Paris, Milan, Amstardam – and London.

The chosen rides are based on data from over 38 million Strava activities for the chosen cities – as Director, Gareth Nettleton says: “We’ve built a series of city guides designed specifically for athletes, by athletes.”
