Covering a distance of 138km, this is not the longest race, but what it lacks in length, it certainly makes up for in gruelling climbs with 4,190m of ascent. The Maratona is one of Italy’s biggest cycling events with about 9,000 people taking part.
The event starts in La Villa and it finishes in Corvara in the Alta Badia region of the beautiful Italian Dolomites.
