Three-quarter length tights, or ‘knickers‘ as they’re known State-side (and increasingly here), are pretty much the ultimate in adaptable cycling bottoms.
They work just as well with leg warmers as shorts do (another layer of warmth around those knees is no bad thing), meaning they’re good for those weird, trans-seasonal periods.
