Some of the best internationally-acclaimed professional female cyclists will be racing around central London over the first weekend of August as they compete in the women’s criterium of RideLondon 2015. Alongside them hundreds of amateur cyclists will get the opportunity to race along the same roads as they complete the London to Surrey 100 mile challenge. A great event to both participate and to spectate, RideLondon is one of the biggest cycling festivals in the world.
Tour de Mon, Isle of Anglesey (MIXED)

For the chance to discover one of Britain’s best kept secrets -the incredibly scenic Isle of Anglesey- there’s no better way than to participate in the Tour de Mon. Cyclists can choose between the 40, 70 or 100 mile routes all of which pass over primarily flat roads. Registration fees cost £27 for the shortest ride, £31 for the mid-length one and £35 for the complete 100 miler. A shorter ride suitable for families with young children is also available – the Tour de Teulu.

Referred to as the sportive for ‘connoisseurs of fine cycling’, participants can choose to pedal 30, 60 or 100 miles around the glorious countryside before spending the afternoon enjoying the finer things in life in the surroundings of Chenies Manor. A vintage market, gourmet food and wine stalls and a cycling art exhibition will all be present to keep both the cyclists and their friends and family entertained and well looked after. There will even be the opportunity to indulge in a spot of cream tea at the manor house.
