If you’re looking for new gear, advice, or some new riding buddies, the Women’s Cycling Evening at The Bike Yard in Royal Leamington Spa could be right up your street.

The evening is being organised by Michelle Paget, a cycling coach and Breeze Champion who is a passionate supporter of women’s cycling. She also co-organises the popular mountain bike Trail Takeover rides, and if they are anything to go by, then this promises to be a great evening.

The event is supported by Liv, so you’ll have the chance to see their great range of bikes, kit and clothing. We had a look at the Liv gear earlier this year, and we really like it.

There’ll also be great gear from Santini, Endura, Flare Clothing and Trail 42.

You can expect a evening of talks, demos, basic maintenance advice, plus talks from Ruth Eyles Coaching (get some tips for your winter riding!) and the Breeze Network.

We love events like these as they aren’t just good for scoping new kit and getting advice, they’re also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded women, find out about the rides going on in your area, and maybe find a riding buddy or two.

There will of course be the usual refreshments, tea and cake, and the aim of the evening is to get women together and offer info and advice.
