Playing about, having fun, and riding with your mates – surely that’s what mountain biking is all about? That’s certainly what the makers of ‘Play’ reckon – and we agree!
Featuring the ample talents of Katy Curd, Manon Carpenter and Joey Gough, in a range of environments and terrain, what’s clear for all to see is that these women love what they do – and they do it oh so well. The film is the creation of Martin Zielinski, and we like it.
Katy Curd, 4X demon, shows her skills at Chicksands Bike Park in this edit. Katy had an awesome season in 2013; she was crowned overall winner of the 4X Pro Tour, and also 2013 4X National Champion.
The seriously talented BMXer Joey Gough is a bit of a legend, and you can see the style the legend is based on here. Oh, and she’s also at home riding 4X and trail.
Manon Carpenter is a downhill MTB racer with her eyes firmly on the prize for 2014 (we’re pretty sure there’s a top spot at a UCI World Cup podium with her name on it) but in the off-season, she’s shredding her local spots with panache.
Though we may not have their skills (and boy, do they have some skills!) we can totally identify with the spirit of ‘Play’. So what are you waiting for? Watch this, be inspired, grab your mates and go have some FUN!
As Manon herself says;
Loved filming this edit with @katycurd and @JoeyGough1 riding with girls is awesome! Don’t forget to Play 🙂 http://t.co/OL5wdNQ3v1
