Great looking shorts with nice features let down by odd sizing.
The Yeti Cycles Women's Caddoa Shorts are a set of baggie mountain bike overshorts with some great features; an adjustable waist band, zipped pockets, friction reducing knee panels (satin finish on the inside of the short legs) and yetis on the buttons!
The shorts are constructed from a very soft and light weight material making them great suitable for long and warm cross country riding or more causal days out.
There are two large front hand pockets. These are great for cash storage at café stops, but difficult to use as storage while riding.
My main concern about the Yeti Cycles Women's Caddoa Shorts is the sizing – the medium I tried is sized as a 12-14. I am a pretty standard size 12, and although these fit nicely on my waist and hips they were too tight on my thighs and bum. I do have well developed (cyclists) thighs, but only what you would expect from someone who bikes regularly. I also found the Caddoa Shorts to be too short for me, but that may be a style thing. However, the shortness and tightness made them difficult to ride in, and resulted in a disappointing product.
It is a real shame as I like the colour and styling. It feels that with only a minor adjustment; more realistic sizing and better cut these could be great.
Great design let down by poor cut and sizing.
Great features and finishing detail.
Sizing doesn’t account for female cyclist thighs.
