Isle of Wight: Round the Island Route
The Round the Island Cycle Route first came to being in 1985 and the 65 mile route offers a complete tour of the coastlines.
The route is made up of signposted dedicated cycleways, many following disused railway lines, miles of bridleways and quiet country lanes. There is a road bike specific route available, too.

Hills between Chale and Godshill ensure you’ll get to see some breathtaking coastal views, though there is a ‘coaster bus’ which carries bikes AND people up the climbs between Spring and Autumn.
