At TWC we love to find a way to make every national holiday revolve around cycling and for Easter, we’ve thought up a trooper of an excuse to get out pedalling – Easter egg hunts by bike.

The kids will love it, the oldies will love it and the cycle-mad amongst us will be in our element too. It’s sure to be a winner all round.

If you’re good at planning ahead, you could set out early on Sunday morning and leave a trail of eggs ready for your children to find later on.

Or, you could take it easy and head along to an organised egg hunt instead. Pick one a few miles from home and you’ll get to enjoy a short stint of continuous pedalling before the hunt begins and you have to pull over each time someone spies a glimmer of colourful foil in the grass.
