Another lengthy cycle route, the thirty three mile Water Rail Way trail is flat and traffic-free and runs from Lincoln to Kirkstead Bridge. Running along the route of the former Lincoln to Boston railway line, cyclists can follow a sculpture trail inspired by the works of poet Alfred Lord Tennyson. Once you’ve arrived at Kirkstead Bridge you can choose to head into Woodhall Spa village or follow the rail way further to Langrick Bridge or Boston. It is also possible to complete a shorter stint of this trail with plenty of turn around points along the route.
