This seven mile coastal cycle path is completely traffic-free and affords riders beautiful views over the Gower Peninsula. The Millennium Coastal Path starts at Llanelli Discovery Centre and after passing through Sandy Water Park, Ashpit Ponds Nature Reserve, Burry Port Marina and Pembrey Forest, it ends in Pembrey Country Park. Along the way cyclists can ride through a rare sand dune forest, spot up to 35 species of butterflies and even the odd bird of prey. Once you’ve arrived at Pembrey Country Park you can choose between trying out some of the cycling tracks around the park or extend your ride by heading out to Kidwelly Castle or joining up to the Swansea Bike Path.
