10 Family Friendly Bike Rides for the Bank Holiday Weekend

Twenty one miles in length, the Lisburn to Jordanstown cycle route can seem a bit daunting to take the whole family on but it’s flat, traffic-free trail makes it accessible to riders of all ages and abilities. Starting in the riverside city of Lisburn, the route takes you waterside to Clement Wilson Park and on into the centre of Belfast. You could stop off here for lunch or to visit Belfast Castle or the zoo before continuing on to Belfast Lough and Jordanstown. If at any point you fancy a break from cycling, the route follows a train line with bicycle-carrying carriages that you can hop onto to give your legs a rest.
