Black + Blum lunch pot, £16.95
Black + Blum lunch pot, £16.95
The TWC team already owns some Black + blum products and loved them, so we were super excited to really put the lunch pot through it’s paces in our tests.
Rattleproof?
We were really surprised that the the lunch pot leaked a considerable amount of liquid during our tests. However, we feel it was important to say that we were particularly violent due to our high expectations, and in our experience the provided handle keeps the two different sections together. And together, we’re stronger.
Size and weight
A taller lunch box works well for those who like to be generous with their portions but still want to be able to squeeze it down the side of a rucksack full of everything aside from the kitchen sink. It’s perhaps a little heavy, but we think the fact it can be carried via the handle makes up for that. Perfect for taking to the park at lunch.
Cleverness
The two compartments are great and they stack well. Perhaps we’d like the little one to be a bit bigger (we tried putting fruit in it and it couldn’t quite carry all the pineapple we desired). But we love the handle and fork combo – ingenious!
Price
Still a bit of an investment, but at £16.95 it’s considerably less expensive than the Monbento. And you’ll save enough on lunches to make it worthwhile in a few days.
