Aldi are renowned among the cycling community for their amazing ‘Specialbuys’ programme and they’ve currently got a selection of incredible deals including Team GB kit from £8.99.
Every Sunday and Thursday, the supermarket chain with over 638 UK stores releases a range of sensational offers – and at the moment there are loads of cycling deals in the collection.
Since Aldi are the official supermarket partner for Team GB as the Rio games creep closer (those athletes need feeding!) they’ve launched a great ‘Homegrown Heroes’ page where people can search out local athletes to support, and are also offering shorts and jerseys for £8.99 alongside other cycling kit. Alongside the key pieces – all available in men’s and women’s fit – there are also mitts for £4 and Muc Off bike cleaning items as well as more understated non-GB kit.
In September this year Aldi will also be releasing a range of ‘Pro’ cycling kit, which will be their most advanced yet. There will be waterproof gloves, performance cycling jerseys and jackets fit for changeable weather.
