Finally, summer has arrived. Nothing beats the sun on your face a gentle breeze in your hair while your riding along. There’s no better time to tackle a sportive than in the luxurious warmth of August.
The Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling returns for 2014, and offers events for everyone from the Olympic elite to beginners.
Some 15,883 riders completed the inaugural 100-mile sportive on August 4 last year and although your chance to enter the ballot has closed there are other ways to get involved.
