6. Trek Lexa SC, £700
Trek’s Lexa SC has a 100 series Alpha Aluminium frame and comes in five sizes from 47 to 56cm. For £700 you get Shimano Sora STI shifters and derailleurs, FSA Vero chainset and female specific Bontrager bars, stem, seatpost and saddle.
We like the black colour scheme, and note that the flowers aren’t to everyone taste. Maybe the gold bar tape will distract from them.
