Scott’s offering in the price range – the Contessa Speedster 45 – is available in five sizes from 49 to 56cm. Again, women’s specific handlebars, handlebar stem and saddle make for a more comfortable fit.
Gearing is a mixture of Shimano 2300 Dual control 24 Speed shifters, chainset and front derailleur, with a Shimano Sora rear derailleur. The wheels consist of Alex Race profile rims with Scott Comp hubs, making a reliable roadworthy wheelset. We love the all white finish and silver graphics – super tasteful, and makes it look like a pricier bike.
