First impressions: SCOTT women’s cycle clothing range

If you haven’t come across SCOTT through cycling, the chances are you’ll have encountered the brand if you are into winter sports or motocross.

Started by Ed Scott, an engineer and ski racer from Idaho in the US, they’ve now expanded into a globally recognised brand, with a strong base in Europe.

SCOTT have been around since 1958, starting out with ski equipment and rapidly branching out into motocross and cycling, producing their first mountain bike in 1986. Among the numerous innovations they’ve developed are suspension forks with adjustable modes, lightweight carbon MTB’s with long travel suspension for all mountain riding, lightweight carbon road bike frames, and new goggle lens technologies for bright conditions.

As well as producing a huge range of hardware for skiing and cycling, they also have a long history – over 20 years – in the making of soft goods, such as clothing, shoes and helmets.

Today SCOTT produce an extensive range of technical kit for women, including products for road cycling, triathlon, and cross country and trail mountain biking. Bib-shorts, long sleeve jerseys, baggy shorts, waterproof jackets, arm warmers and base layers – Scott have the works.

The items you see here are available through any SCOTT stockists; if they don’t have it in store, they should be able to order it in for you.

We’ve got a selection of kit that’s suitable for keeping you out riding in the changeable autumn months, both on road and on the trail. So sit back and enjoy the gallery!
