Combines Italian craftsmanship and styling in a colourful comfortable package
Despite being the same brand as worn by Mark Cavendish and the Omega Pharma – Quick-Step team, Vermarc wasn’t one I’d paid much attention to before.
Yet the Vermarc Tinto Donna short sleeve jersey, with its eye-catching colour and neat fit, is now firmly on my radar.
Made from Vermarc’s S-Dry material, a soft 100% polyester designed for summer jerseys, the Tinto Donna jersey feels light against my skin. It’s very breathable, soft, and importantly, isn’t too clingy. Vermarc claims its S-Dry internal structure reduces contact points between the fabric and the skin so air can circulate and dry your skin better, and it seems to work.
The cuffs on the arms are not particularly elasticated, and have no seams to dig in as they’re stitched at the top then doubled over, yet the silicon gripper hem of the Tinto Donna jersey could do with more grip as it would often ride up.
The pockets (the usual three) sit well and are of a good even width, and flat-lock seams prevent anything rubbing. But mainly, this jersey is all about the colour – it’s fab – and the Tinto Donna is just the thing for summer days.
Verdict
A bright splash of colour for summer days, the Vermarc Tinto Donna is great for shooting the breeze in.
