Review: Polaris Mica Women’s Jersey
Review: Polaris E-Motion Performance Bib Shorts
This is a nice-looking half-zip from Polaris in a very light, breathable polyester fabric, ideal for summer cycling.
It’s a sort of light plum colour, rather than the usual hot pink, which makes a change. The front and rear graphic print is eyecatching and this is certainly a piece that’ll help you stand out. Visibility is aided with reflective logos on the sleeves.
I actually really love the look of this, which is why I’m sad to say this isn’t the right fit for me. It’s too short in the body and I don’t feel comfortable riding in it.
There’s no rubberised hem or grip at the bottom either and I’m afraid I feel self-conscious and worried about the jersey riding up.
I imagine this concern would be removed if I wore the jersey over bibs or high waisted shorts, but I’m not really a big fan of the top-to-toe Lycra/Simon Cowell look.
Elsewhere the jersey is thoughtfully designed, with three rear storage pockets including one zipped for keys.
Overall this a neat and pretty cycling top and it’s very lightweight and comfortable.
Verdict
If you’re on the shorter side, or happy to don bibs, this would make a lovely addition to your summer cycling wardrobe.
Pros

Cons
Short in the body
