A short hop across the Irish Sea, and you’re over in Dublin which is the location for the first women’s only enduro race, part of the Bluegrass Enduro Tour. This is set to be a challenging event, riding through some of the best singletrack and trails the Wicklow Mountains have to offer. If you’ve ever fancied riding in Ireland and not quite got round to it, it’s the perfect way to experience it.
The race will move between four venues, but you don’t have to pedal all the way – there’ll be a bus on hand to ship you and your bike to and from them all. You still get plenty of riding in, and even have a go on part of the Irish National Enduro route.
The event is fully supported, with the usual bike mechanics, bike wash, etc included. There’s even an evening meal and DJ to celebrate your success! Make a weekend of it and head into town to relax with a Guinness on the Sunday, before heading home.
