Review: Yeti Cycles Women’s Caddoa Shorts Review
The Yeti Cycles Women’s Ruby Liner is cool and comfortable and in a great colour.
These liners are well thought out with lots of elements to support a comfortable day out; wide waist band and leg cuffs, mesh style fabric panels, and a comfortable chamois.
Worn under a set of baggies for the long day out in the saddle Ruby Liner were comfortable and required no fidgeting or ‘breaking in’ as sometimes a new set of liners may need.
I felt that the waist band, although nice and wide could have fit slightly higher up my back, and I did tug at it to start with to ensure it was higher than my over shorts.
The leg bands are great, nice and wide with no rubber or silicon band. I often get a heat rash with other leg bands so these liners made a pleasant change.
I did find the sizing a touch snug – these are sized as a 12-14. I am a pretty standard 12, and they were tight. The seams around the top of the leg bands felt uncomfortably tight when walking around, although were better while biking. I do have ‘proper cyclist thighs’, but a brand like Yeti Cycles should surely understand this.
The turquoise colour is very ‘yeti’, and I quite liked it. It may not suit all, but under a pair of baggies, it’s quite nice to have a little colour in your life.
VerdictWell thought out features let down by the small sizing.
ProComfortable to ride in and well designed.
Non rubberised leg bands.
ConSizing is on the small size, and does account for cyclist thighs!
Waist band should be higher.
