‘WOW!’ is our first response to the treasure trove of glorious looking technical kit sent through by Dakine. If you’re looking for something to brighten those dull January days, then look no further.

You’re getting a sneak peek at the 2014 MTB collection from Dakine – this stuff is so new, it’s not even available to buy on the Dakine website yet!

Dakine are an American company with a ubiquitous presence in the world of action sports. From surfing to snowboarding (and of course cycling) they’re known for producing quality luggage and other hardware, with bright, eye-catching and attractive looks.

They’ve translated their technical and design know-how to clothing, producing ranges of gear for cycling, snowboarding and surfing.

For 2014, the design and colours of their bike kit is themed by colour, so whether you like bright reds and purples, or prefer more natural, earthy tones, there’ll be something for you here. A lot of the products also co-ordinate across the different ranges.

Our first impressions of the technical features of the kit are impressive too – it looks well thought out.

So it looks good, and seems to have the features we want and need, but how does it actually perform? Keep an eye on the site for our reviews as they come in. But for now, enjoy a quick intro to the 2014 Dakine MTB range.
