12 of the Coolest Female Riders to Follow on Instagram

These women know how to shred, so give them a follow to be inspired

Social media has allowed the world to stay connected. Friendships have been rekindled, news is shared and funny cat videos are a plenty. Social media has also provided us with small precious windows into the lives of our heroes, as we follow men and women who fascinate, entertain and inspire us.

Inspirational pictures that will make you want to ride

It requires a whole lot of will power to not check you mobile phone at every beep and buzz. Who knows, it could be the latest piece of gossip from your friend, or breaking news in the world of mountain biking. To pass the time, we can breathe hours away scrolling through pages of people we deem worthy enough to follow. I don’t know about you, but I follow (and stalk) many riders, brands and people who inspire me to ride my bike, and have a bloody good time doing it.

So I’ve rounded some up awesome MTB pages that I think you should be following on Instagram.

Just working super hard with my pal @lauraaarobson heehee???????????? ????????

#manualmonday ???? While I sit still for longer periods of time than I'm used to with this broken foot, I am reminded of my journey to get where I am. Patience has always been hard for me and this dumb injury is another lesson in patience… It's taken me over a decade of hard work to ride and teach like I do and it took a lot longer to realize my dreams. So I can sit still and be patient for this thing to heal. At least it happened dancing. You can trust me to teach you on a bike. ???????? #patienceyounggrasshopper #ridebikesbehappy #livbeyond #motivationmonday

Casey Brown is one chick I wouldn’t want to face on the trails. She’s gnarly like no other, and one of the coolest women out there. She’s not phased by how high the boys send it, she challenges them.

Riding for Trek, Casey is an all mountain, all terrain trail shredder who has fun and passion in everything she does.

This was a fun wee line…. I'd originally wanted to ride over this roof in the Way Back Home in 2010 but the run in was a little rough for the trials bike. Was cool to finally get it in a film 6 years later 🙂 @redbulluk @cutmedia ???? – @dave_mackison #weedayout

Ok ok, Danny MacAskill isn’t a female (that we know of), but you can’t deny he’s awesome to watch. His skills on the bike are like no other, and his insane videos are enough to inspire any man, woman and child.

His feed is full of adventure, fun and everything that we love about riding bikes… not to mention the occasional bike porn pic here and there!

Follow (or stalk in my case) Danny’s front-flipping life.
