5-13 July 2014, Bristol
Spend an afternoon in a cycle-in cinema, attend a bicycle ballet and squeeze in watching some coverage of the Tour de France whilst sipping a coffee in a quaint community bike café in the heart of Bristol. If this sounds perfect to you, then you must head to the Bristol Cycle Festival.
If you have cycled or even just walked around Bristol before you will know how strenuous their many steep hills are to climb. And if you’re up for the challenge you can join other brave cyclists in the Dundry Drubber race, described by the festival as being “Short on distance, but high on pain”.
With many interesting attractions on offer, their vintage velo ride (a spin on the London Tweed Run), speed dating on bicycles and cycling around the beautiful Blaise Castle must not be missed!
