This is a nine-day, eight night self-guided tour of the Arctic Coast, in Norway. It’s advertised specifically as a cycling tour for singles, organised by Wheel2Wheel.

The route is described as ‘challenging leisure cycling suitable for experienced cyclists comfortable with changing weather conditions, good at map navigation and able to handle cycling in remote locations’. That means it’s probably not going to be a walk in the park, but should be a sensational experience.

The tour starts at Tromso, a city surrounded by mountains and islands, and over the course of the week, you’ll ride between 17km (a short day as there is a ferry crossing) and 63km each day to eventually reach Svolvaer.

Each evening includes accommodation and an evening meal, and there are suggested attractions, including visiting the Northern Lights Centre at Andenes.
