5 Great Christmas Bike Rides

Time to yourself, and the chance to see some beautiful wildlife. Image copyright Sustrans

This nineteen mile circular route takes in the RSPB Snettisham nature reserve. Sunrise and sunset in winter provides the chance to see thousands of pink-footed geese flying from their overnight roosts inland to feed. The route only has gentle gradients and some traffic free parts so it won’t be too much of a shock to the body either.

Trail: Cycle to The Wash

Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk, East England
Length: 19 miles
Suitable for: A quite ride to get away from it all, and stretch those legs out gently.
