We all know Sarah Storey for her four London 2012 Paralympic gold medals. With a total of 11 Olympic golds to her name, the former international swimmer is one of Great Britain’s most decorated athletes.

Dame Sarah Storey to Take on UCI Hour Record

In 2014 Storey won para-cycling cycling titles at the  UCI Track World Championships, with first in the 3km pursuit and scratch race and third place in the 500m time trial.

Meanwhile the cycling Dame has been training hard for her hour record attempt on Sunday 28 February during the Revolution Series at the Lee Valley Velodrome.

In March she will race in the Individual Pursuit, 500m Time Trial and Scratch Race at the Para-cycling Track World Championships.
