Here is the first installment…
What can I do to look after my hair?
Invest in a good shampoo and conditioner. Massage your scalp while the shampoo/conditioner is on your hair. To reduce frizz wash your hair with cold water. If combing through the hair while wet, take extra care as your hair breaks much easier when it is wet.
Use a wide tooth comb or fingers to separate hair. Don’t rip through your hair when you comb it! This will make a terrible mess of your hair. Use a wide-tooth comb and gently work your way from the bottom to the top (that is, detangle the last few inches, then detangle a few inches higher, working your way up). If you wish to use a brush we would recommend Unite Tangle Tangle Teaser with Unite 7 Seconds Conditioning Spray.
Curly Hair: Sebastian Hydra shampoo and conditioner to retain moisture and add bounce to the curl.
Straight: Sebastian Volupt shampoo and conditioner to add some extra volume.
Afro: Unite Smoothing shampoo and conditioner to help tame the curl.
Short: Sebastian Trilliance shampoo and conditioner. A total weightless shampoo and conditioner that also add shine.
