In his book The Obree Way, Graeme Obree suggests sardines on toast as his favourite quick post-ride recovery meal – and it’s a good tip.
Cans of sardines contain lots of protein, healthy fat, and you can choose to go for options with tomato sauce – meaning all you need to do it toast your toast, warm your sardines, and load them onto their bready bed. Job done!
