This sleeveless top would be equally at home as either a base layer or a top in it’s own right for an indoor turbo or spin session. The fabric for this singlet uses Crafts Hexa fibres which have a unique construction of six channels to help pull perspiration vapour away from the body keeping it cool. It certainly proved that this is the case after coping exceptionally well with a particularly hot and sweaty turbo session. The top still felt remarkably soft and comfortable next to the skin and didn’t leave my skin feeling clammy and cold at all, even with 10 mins of stretching afterwards.
It isn’t the most striking of tops to look at and certainly wouldn’t make you stand out from the crowd if you wore it to the gym but more importantly it won’t leave you with unsightly sweat patches no matter how hard you work!
I tested a M and as a size 10 it was a little on the loose side, perfect for use on the turbo but a little too baggy to sit comfortably under a tighter fitting cycle top. I’d recommended trying for size wherever possible, as a Craft cycling top I have is also a medium and that is a near perfect fit.
All in all though it is a very functional top which does exactly as it claims in it’s name.
