What’s your favourite colour?
Pink!
Earliest memory on a bike?
Riding a little red bike that was a hand-me-down that my brother gave me with a back pedal brake.
What’s your favourite film?
Err…the Jungle Book!
Do you have any pre-race rituals?
Some sort of dancing, probably! Actually, a dynamic warm-up. I used to dance, but now I do a dynamic warm up to music.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Chocolate, obviously!
If you weren’t a professional mountain biker, what would you be?
If I could be anything in the world? I would probably be an artist, but if I could choose to be anything in the world I’d be Beyonce. She is so sick! She can sing, she is pretty, she’s just cool!
What is your proudest moment that isn’t to do with mountain biking?
Jeez….oh, I had an art show the other day! My first art show ever. And it’s been on my list of goals for some time so to be able to show my art and sell some pieces and get it out to the public more, that meant a lot to me. [You can see and buy Micayla’s art via her Tumblr gallery]
Do you have any hidden talents?
I mimic things a lot – would you say that’s a hidden talent? I do accents and animal noises. I can do a good Wookiee noise! [Does a Wookiee noise. It’s very good] I just love making noises!
