What are you doing on the 20th July 2014? How about joining thousands of women around the planet for the Rapha Women’s 100.

Organised by the incredibly popular road cycling clothing company, this is no ordinary sportive. This is all about the ride. 100km out in the fresh air, as part of a group, a ride organised by Rapha themselves, or even just by yourself. The emphasis here is getting as many women as possible, of every level, all around the world, cycling at the same time.

4,000 women took part in 2013, and Rapha aim to double that number this year. With rides taking place as far away as Canada, Norway and Taiwan, it’s safe to say this will be a global event.

Partipants can register their interest on the Rapha website, and also find out about rides near them they can join. If you are a group, you can also submit an organised ride that you are happy for other riders to participate in.

Rapha will also be running rides themselves that you can join in with;

  • Portland, US
  • New York, US
  • San Francisco, US
  • South Korea
  • Japan
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Melbourne, Australia
  • London, UK
  • Manchester, UK

Every woman who completes the 100km ride will get a special woven Rapha badge to commemorate the occasion.
