British National Road Race Championships, 25 & 28 June

Well, we are in Britain after all – and last year’s events brought excitement across the nation, with Laura Trott taking the road race win, and Emma Pooley ending her elite cycling career as the National Time Trial Champion.

5 of the Best Value Carbon Road Bikes for Women

Both the time trial and road race will take place in Lincolnshire – with the time trial, on Thursday 25th June, setting off from Cadwell Motor Racing Circuit before hitting closed roads along the top of Lincolnshire Woods.

The Sunday Road Race will use Yarnborough Leisure Centre as its HQ and team village, and the route will pass through a series of villages, over a 28-mile-loop, which will reach its end in Lincoln’s Castle Square, after an uphill climb that promises to be one final test.
