It has been announced this week that North Wales’ event specialists, Always Aim High Events, will be organising the UK’s longest and toughest one-day cyclosportive!
This new event, aptly named the Chain Reaction Cycles Etape Xtrem, will be run as part of the famous Snowdonia cycle sportive – the Etape Eryri. The Xtrem will take in all three of the Etape routes – the 76 mile Canol then the 103 Mawr followed by the 47 mile Bach – taking in the atmospheric festival at the base of Caernarfon Castle after every route
Totaling 226 miles and approximately 4000m (13,000ft) of climb there is no other one day cycle ride this long or as tough in the UK and possibly the world.
