Felt’s Ladies 2014 ZW5 is a lot of bike for £1599, you get a plenty of Shimano 105 components including shifters, derailleurs and brakes, plus an FSA Omega compact crankset with varying crank length according to frame size. This philosophy has been transferred to handlebar width too. Smaller frame sizes (43, 45 and 47cm) have 38cm width bars, while the larger 51cm frame has 40cm wide bars – nice touch Felt!
The women’s road bike frame is no let down either; it’s the FitWoman Road UHC Performance carbon fibre with BB30 and electronic-compatible internal cable routing. The fork has a carbon steerer with integrated crown race, crown, blades and drop-outs – that’s pretty impressive for this price point.
