Devon-based cycling brand, Chapeau, started life producing cycling-specific skincare. In April 2014, they expanded their business to include both a men’s and women’s clothing range.
We’ve been sent a couple of pieces from their rapidly expanding women’s line, and we like what we see!
All of the pieces we’ve been sent are quietly understated, with classic, simple designs – a trend that runs through the entire women’s collection.
Chapeau clothing is – to use the firm’s own words – ‘a brand conceived and developed by cyclists who yearned for great quality products that came complete with a touch of class.’
From the jacket and base layers we’ve pulled out of the post bag, we’re inclined to agree although we’ll leave our in depth comments for the full reviews.
At present, the women’s range is limited to 7 products; jerseys, jackets, bib shorts/leggings and base layers, compared to the mens 20+ options, this is a shame. Lucky for us then, that the Chapeau team are set to develop and grow the range for Spring/Summer 2014.
